In this video I show you how to upload your own 'custom' map to the Minecraft Realms Server!! This video was requested by Sam:)Follow me on Twitter @Chills. Minecraft Realms can be modified offline, and then uploaded for the rest of the members to enjoy. You can add unique skins, behavior modifiers, and all sorts of other features using Minecraft's Add-Ons platform.
This way if anything goes wrong, you can restore the map. B) If the mods add new ores or any other naturally generated elements, you will need to travel to unexplored areas to get them to spawn (like with many major Minecraft updates) – Trent Hawkins Feb 10 '17 at 9:06. We know that adding Mods to your Minecraft server can make your game much more interactive and fun. Note that usually mods are adding new content to the game, so the possibilities are great when using mods.
This article will help you to properly install mods on your server.
⚠ Important Notes ⚠
If you install mods on your server, any player that wants to join your server will have to install the mods into his client as well. This is how mods are working. We have a guide here for setting up mods in your client.
Please note that modded servers require usually more RAM than normal servers, so please verify that your server has enough RAM for the number of mods you wanna run. Here is our guide telling the number of mods each of our plans can keep.
If you wish to install mods in your server, your server needs firstly to be running on Forge (So for this, we'll need to do a clean installation in your server).
Also, please note that we provide one-click setups our Multicraft panel for versions of Forge between 1.7.10 and 1.16.5! This saves you from doing a custom Forge installation!
Please note that usually a new world is needed if you add or remove a mod as the server does not recognize anymore the blocks/ entities from the new mod or from the missing one. We have a guide here for removing a mod from your server if needed.
🔌 Forge Installation 🔌
You can perform a clean installation by doing the following steps:

Click on Files and select Setup.
Select the Forge template you want to use (according to the version you want to use), tick the box for Delete All Server Files and type your Multicraft password, then click on Apply.
ATTENTION - This will delete all server files including backups. Make sure to use Filezilla to download your files before proceeding. Here is our guide for using Filezilla.
Go back, start your server and wait for the Template you selected to be installed. You will be able to see the progress logs in the Multicraft console.
