My offer was accepted 8/7 and it's just arriving today (8/22), shipped about a week ago. I contacted Greentoe when my order had been in 'processing' for a few days and found out the retailer had run out of stock, would still honor the deal when they got back in stock in 3-5 days (turned out to be about 5), and offered me the option of cancelling the deal.

- I learned about Greentoe, and immediately looked up reviews. Most said it was legit, but as usual there were a few worrysome reviews. Despite this, I went for it and got an offer accepted for $2150 total (this included any tax and shipping).
- I was asked to write a review by the Greentoe's CS team. That said, I must admit I loved the process of purchasing my latest camera through Greentoe at a great price. The process can be improved especially regarding payment of the goods (merchant processes the payment, not Greentoe).

How Does It Work?
The Greentoe.com website is designed to be as simple as possible. All you have to do is go their site, browse the products you are interested in purchasing, and then “name your price,” which means offering the price you would like to pay for that product.

When you search, you will be shown the average price that item is selling for online, as well as the lowest available price for that item online. These prices are intended to help you understand what type of price you should reasonably offer. In addition, they provide the “Offer Success Potential” indicator, which is intended to show you the likelihood that your offer will be accepted by a retailer.
Many retailers are set up to instantly accept an offer that is reasonable, but even if your offer is not immediately accepted you will generally hear from retailers within one to three days. It is important to note, though, that offers cannot be cancelled or rescinded after they have been submitted.
